Age-Appropriate Curriculum Materials for Classroom Use
These packages are complete and include everything needed to prepare a teacher to start presenting science-based information on nutrition and health to students. The programs are flexible, so that varying amounts of time can be allocated to this topic, depending on the preference of the teacher, curriculum requirements, and other factors. Support is available from Foundation personnel.
Middle/High School Curriculum
Materials included:
- Wellness 101 - a distance learning self-study course designed to teach you basic principles of health and wellness and the skills necessary to practice dietary excellence and optimal habits (note: This course qualifies for continuing education credit in many school systems. If you are interested in applying for CE credit from your school system, we can provide an outline). Comes with a CD set to enhance your understanding of the material.
- The China Study by T. Colin Campbell, Ph.D. - This book is the compelling story of Dr. T. Colin Campbell's ground-breaking research about the connection between diet and human health. In addition to chronicling over four decades of original research, this book offers over 700 scientific references pointing to the same conclusion - our health issues are a result of three things - breakfast, lunch and dinner!
- Diet for a New America DVD or Video - Host John Robbins provides a through look at the American food production system and how it adversely affects human health and the environment. Features interviews with Dr. Michael Klaper, Dr. John McDougall and Dr. T. Colin Campbell.
- 6 Teaching modules, complete with overhead transparencies, instructions, and projects, that both teach kids the connection between diet and health, motivate them to make positive changes, and provide skills necessary to do so. These are:

- You are What You Eat
- Good Stuff for Your Body
- Healthy Cooking
- Healthy Eating on the Road
- Show me the Science!
